BIOGRAPHY
Tamika Hatcher
Educational Outreach Coordinator
​Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission
Tameka Monique Hatcher is the Educational Outreach Coordinator with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. She began her career in civil rights as an employment discrimination investigator and recently served as Acting Director of the Housing & Commercial Property Division.  An experienced facilitator, Tameka developed a ground-breaking training on “Diversity, Harassment and Respect for Police Departments” that is a model throughout the Commonwealth. A graduate of Lincoln University with a degree in Political Science and French, she was a legislative research analyst for the House of Representatives and a social worker specializing in children and youth advocacy. Tameka’s passion is youth engagement, and she serves on the Pennsylvania Bullying Prevention Partnership and is a volunteer mentor with the Leaders of Tomorrow and ASCEND programs.  She was appointed to the YWCA Criminal Justice & Community Relations Task Force, and is a past board member of The Program for Female Offenders, Inc. A recipient of the Lisa Waller Memorial Service Award, Tameka is a graduate of the Commonwealth Emerging Leader Program and the Pennsylvania State Police Citizens Police Academy.  She earned an MBA in Management from Eastern University.
